Charita (Tutor)

Charita holds a Master’s degree in Education from Chicago State University and is a licensed Learning Behavior Specialist. With 35 years of experience in CPS, Charita is passionate about helping students thrive and has extensive experience implementing IEPs and service plans to support academic and personal growth.

Cindy (Tutor)

Cindy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Psychology and is licensed in Illinois as a Learning Behavior Specialist. A veteran tutor on our team with over 20 years of teaching experience, she supports diverse learners in building literacy, math, executive functioning skills, and overall confidence.

 
 
Corey (Tutor)

Corey holds a Master’s in Education from Columbia University and has worked in education since 2015. He specializes in supporting students with diverse learning needs from elementary through high school, focusing on building academic and executive functioning skills to help them grow in confidence and success.

Data (Tutor)

Dara holds a Master’s degree in both Education and Reading from the University of Illinois and is a licensed Learning Behavior Specialist. With over 15 years of experience in education, Dara brings deep expertise and a compassionate approach to her work. She has supported many students in math during her time with us, and families consistently share glowing feedback about her impact.

 
 
Katie (Tutor)

Katie holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Purdue University and an M.L.I.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. A licensed Illinois Professional Educator with endorsements in ESL and Library Information, she brings over 13 years of experience supporting individual child development across core academic areas, including executive functioning, English Language Arts, and math.

Marc (Tutor)

Marc is an educator and school consultant with over 30 years in teaching and school leadership. He began teaching kindergarten in Chicago in 1994, prior to becoming a national trainer on how to teach reading. He then created a model classroom for the State of Illinois, and has spoken extensively about educational issues on TV, radio and at conferences. Marc supports school improvement through professional development and cognitive coaching and has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for his work in school turnaround efforts. He taught special education before retiring from CPS.

 
 
Tulin (School Psychologist)

Tulin is a certified school psychologist with a focus on executive functioning for elementary through college-aged students and  academic tutoring for elementary and middle school students. She is also currently working on her master's in Library & Information Sciences, with a goal of earning her School Librarian certification. 

Rhea

Rhea, Support Specialist, helps with billing, payment, client and tutoring onboarding and all sorts of other good stuff!
